I seemed to recall that I picked up this Schlafly Summer Lager on a recent trip up to Bethesda MD, to see what beers they might have in stock up there that I couldnt find in Northern Virginia.
Unfortunately, in addition to picking up a few new beers, I apparently also picked up a speeding ticket, courtesy of a Maryland speed camera. Anybody know how to get out of these?
The Schalfly Summer Lager is a Helles style lager – this style dates back to 1894. True to the style, this beer was slightly malty, with a peppery bite from the Mittelfrüh hops.
Today’s song… yeah, it’s corny, but catchy…
