Change of seasonals…
I stopped in at a neighborhood bar last night with low expectations on
the beer selection. This was the type of
place that sells lots of Miller Lite, Bud Light, the occasional Yuengling, lots
of chicken wings and cheese fries.
My one hope for a unique beer turned out to be the one I expected. It was time to change the “Sam’s Seasonal”
tap from Oktoberfest to Winter Lager. I opted for a large mug, why not?
Light brown in color, this is a slightly malty and sweet beer, but
definitely quaffable. It’s a decent beer, if Sam’s Seasonal is the most unique
beer your local owl-themed restaurant has on tap.
