Seal of approval…
Coming off my string of pumpkin ales, I was glad to get back to beers
that I actually wanted to drink. I’ve
had Red Seal before, and several other beers from the North Coast Brewing
Company, and they generally put out good beers – I’m glad we get them here over
on the East Coast.
The Red Seal Ale is their flagship beer, a slightly ruddy, copper-red
pale ale, with a moderate level of hopping, slightly less than a Sierra Nevada
Pale Ale. Definitely an easy drinking
beer with character.
