Unfortunately, there’s way too many of these going on at work lately. I went to one a few weeks ago – turns out there were three people from work having going away happy hours at the same time!
Actually, tonight I spoke to one of the guys that left the company at that last happy hour, and discovered he went to the same high school I did in Liverpool, NY several years ago. Go Warrirors! Go Brooks!
Anyway, we were at Finnegan’s in Herndon, VA, an Irish/sports pub that opened about 8 months ago. In addition to the standard macro-brews, they also had a couple British and Irish beers, plus a few good micros, including Bell’s Two Hearted Ale.
B2HA is described as an American Style IPA – in this case, it’s a little less hoppy and slightly sweeter than your typical IPA. And that’s the way, uh-hu, uh-huh, I like it.
