Earlier this year, I had a few English ESB ales (Extra Special Bitters). This beer from Flying Fish in New Jersey is their interpretation of an English ESB.
This was a good, slightly malty ESB, but not as distinct in flavor as some of the English ESB’s, like the Cottleigh Barn Owl. But overall, it was an enjoyable beer, one you could have every day.
