Dead Guy in the house!

Dead Guy Ale is one of Rogue’s flagship beers, dating back to the early 90’s.  Its distinctive name and label make people want to give it a try, its great taste make people want to buy it again.

This German Maibock Style ale pours a cloudy burnt orange color with a 1 finger head.  It’s only slightly bitter from the hops, and a little sweet tasting.  It’s got a 6.6% alcohol content, which sneaks up on you a little. So be careful out there.

Side Note:  Yesterday, I busted on a dude’s review of Cooper’s Sparkling Ale on Beer Advocate – he compared the taste of the beer to boiled bananas and pencil dust.  Well, I tonight I went back and checked out some of his other reviews, which were just as pretentious, ridiculous and amusing.  Dude’s handle on Beer Advocate, and if you want a chuckle, check out some of his other reviews yourself.
