In 2010, Sierra Nevada released a series of four beers to celebrate their 30^th anniversary.  The Grand Cru is the last of these four, which also included an Imperial Stout, a Bock and a Barleywine.

The Grand Cru is a 78% blend of Sierra's Pale and Celebration ales, and 22% Oak-Aged Bigfoot Barleywine.  The result is a flavor combination that is interesting, complex, but not something I’d drink everyday.

If I could, I’d rate this someplace between Passable and Good, but I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt.
